Speaking at Dallas Comic Con, actor Jason Momoa stated that his research for the character Aquaman, slated to appear in March's "Batman v Superman," has included reading the New 52 comic book version. Momoa also noted that he has been working with DC Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns, who wrote for the Aquaman title in the New 52. In this version, Johns has worked to bring a little more seriousness to the character while also making him more interested in protecting humans. We'll have to wait to see how much of his informs Momoa's portrayal.
