Rumor: Red Hood and the Joker Are the Villains for "Batman" Solo Film

According to sources reported to Joblo.com, the Batman stand alone film will focus on the Red Hood and involve the Joker in the plot. The report states that the "Death in the Family" and "Under the Red Hood" comic book story lines will influence the film, reportedly being written by Ben Affleck and DC Comics Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns.

The story also suggests that Nightwing could have a role in the film, fighting alongside with Batman. If this report is true, it will be interesting to see how, if at all, Red Hood will be referenced in either "Batman v. Superman" or "Suicide Squad." Taking a look at the DCEU film schedule, its worth noting that a lot will happen between "BvS" and a solo Batman film. Perhaps the much-disected note from the "BvS" trailer is from Red Hood and not directly related to the plot?
