Welcome to the DC Film Link Rebirth!

It has been two years since the last update to this website. In that time, the DC Extended Universe of films has gone through a lot of changes, speculation, and development. "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" and "Suicide Squad" were released to mixed reviews to say the least while "Wonder Woman" restored the faith of critics and fans alike in the future of these films. With "Justice League" a little more than a month away and titles like "Nightwing," "Shazaam," and "Flashpoint" on the horizon, it seemed like there was no better time to reboot DC Film Link.

However, just like the DCEU (or DC Films, as it is expected to be called moving forward) has been adapted, so too will DC Film Link. When I started this website I wanted it to be a go-to source for up to the minute news on everything from rumors to press releases to first-looks at trailers and photos. But I failed. I failed to keep on top of the near constant stream of news and whispers that were coming out. I failed to provide useful information to separate DC Film Link from the websites that influenced me to even start my own site. I failed to accomplish what I thought it was I set out to do.

But that doesn't mean I can't rebuild. That I can't do better. I have to. So moving forward, DC Film Link will be less of a news oriented website and more of an opinion column. There are hundreds if not thousands of websites, blogs, Twitter and Facebook feeds that offer news about DC films. So I'm not going to add to that but instead offer something more unique, more personal: the thoughts, reactions, and reflections of a fan who is simply excited and thankful to see these characters brought to life on film. I think this is the best way for DC Film Link to exist and I think you, the reader, will enjoy it too. Just a feeling...
